MODEL KOMUNIKASI PENCEGAHAN KEKERASAN ANAK DAN PEREMPUAN DP3AP2KB KOTA TANGERANG DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication model used by the Tangerang City Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) in preventing violence against children and women. The method used was a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with five key informants directly involved in the program. The results showed that the communication model implemented was participatory, collaborative, and community-based, through programs such as PATBM, PUSPAGA, SILACAK PERAK, and UPT PPA. Communication strategies were implemented both directly and digitally through social media to reach various target groups. Although quite effective, program implementation faced obstacles such as limited human resources, budget, and challenges of patriarchal culture. This study concluded that the success of the prevention program is highly dependent on open, adaptive, and sustainable communication.
